Drag Race has had plenty of queens over the years, and that means there are a lot of names to remember (or in this case, forget).

Wait, did RuPaul just forget Drag Race season five winner Jinkx Monsoon's name??

According to a recent video circulating around the interwebs, that's what it looks like!

This weekend, DragCon 2022 is taking over Downtown Los Angeles' convention center, so many queens from the RuPaul's Drag Race multiverse (and beyond) are convening to celebrate all things fabulous and all things drag. The three-day event kicked off on Friday morning with the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, where Mama Ru herself was surrounded by some of the legendary queens that have graced the hall (and werk room) of the beloved reality competition series and who are returning for the upcoming all-winners All Stars 7 season.

In a video posted to Twitter by user @SteffKopp from the event itself, Mama Ru can be seen giving a few brief remarks before cutting the big pink ribbon, and during her speech, Ru seems to have forgotten the name of a certain and beloved Seattle-based queen -- Jinkx Monsoon.

"One of the things I told this one right here," Ru says as he points to Moonsoon, who is standing a few feet away from him. "Because your name is..."

"Jinkx," Monsoon replies into the mic, which causes an eruption of laughs from the crowd who just realized Ru forgot the season 5 winner's name for a hot second.

"There's a lot of girls, right?" RuPaul then replies, playing it off before continuing into a story about dancing with Monsoon in a Soul Train-inspired dance line during her season.

Well, mistakes happen! And from the amused look on Monsoon's face, there seem to be no hard feelings!

RuPaul's DragCon Los Angeles is running now through Sunday, May 15. For more information and tickets, visit their official website here.
