Tayce and Cherry Valentine landed in the bottom two and had to lip sync against each other in episode two of the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race UK. During the lip sync - which was to the tune of Elaine Paige's "Memory" from the musical Cats - Tayce delivered an iconic and haunting performance that culminated in Valentine's elimination.
Last week, Valentine suddenly passed away at age 28, prompting several Drag Race alumni to share tributes in memory of their beloved drag sister. But Tayce went one step further, recreating her beautiful lip sync number to "Memory" in honor of Valentine.
Tayce wore a black and yellow outfit for the tribute - the same colors worn by Valentine during their lip sync on Drag Race UK season two. Though Tayce mostly recreated her performance seen on the show, she was also visibly emotional given Valentine's recent passing.
You can watch Tayce's full tribute to Valentine below.
Even though Tayce defeated Valentine in that particular Drag Race lip sync, they were obviously season two sisters, drag peers, and personal friends regardless of that outcome in the series.
Overall, season two is widely regarded as the best season of Drag Race UK thus far, and Valentine was perceived as a finalist when that cast was first announced to fans. The UK queens in particular have been mourning their loss of a sister, but the entire Drag Race universe was shaken to its core following the news of Valentine's passing.
Tayce is one of the most popular queens to come out of the Drag Race UK series, and this tribute felt particularly poignant given the history she shared with Valentine on screen.
RuPaul's Drag Race UK season four airs Thursdays on WOW Presents Plus.
