It turns out that Raja really did go off on Michelle Visage during RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars

A legendary legend drama!

In the summer of last year, Trinity The Tuck spilled some major tea about an alleged heated exchange between Raja and Michelle Visage on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 7.

During the Q&A section for a gig, Tuck was asked by a fan to name the specific episode when Raja allegedly called out Visage. The All Stars 4 winner’s response was filmed and shared on TikTok by @karenskjerning:

“Michelle came for Raja during episode three. Raja looked dead at Michelle and said, ‘Who are you to judge me? You have no credentials other than being the host’s best friend.’ And then when we got off-stage, backstage, in the werkroom, and the cameras were cut, she told all the producers: ‘She should be fired!’ I mean, I don’t know if I agree or not, I’m just saying that’s what she said.”

When Tuck’s tea-spilling went viral, Raja was quick to comment that her costar’s version of the events included a lot of “embellishment” – suggesting that something did happen, but not exactly the way that Tuck recalled.

Now, over a year later, Raja has finally set the record straight in a new interview with Jonny McGovern on Look At Huh. The crowned Queen of She Done Already Done Had Herses said:

“I just want to say that I don’t normally drink Red Bull, and there’s sensory deprivation involved in these processes. I mean, some of it is true. It’s highly embellished, which is what drag is. We’re all just highly embellished.”

She continued, “It’s partially true. There was a moment where, you know, Michelle and I kind of… we had a conversation. [It was] much longer than a judging should go. But here’s the thing, let me preface this by saying that Michelle and I are friends. In fact, she was a very crucial person when my mother passed away. She was one of the first people that I texted because, while [filming All Stars 7], her, Ru, and I during our Tic Tac conversation got very personal about our relationships with our families and parents in particular. So any drama [from] Reddit… Come on, we’re both adults.”

“And here’s the thing,” Raja added. “Michelle and I are probably like a year apart. So to hear any judging from someone who’s like my peer… Also, I did her makeup and styled her for the cover of her first book. So it was no shade, it was just me being like, ‘Oh, come on girl,’ you know? And it caused a ruckus in the room, but mostly laughter, I’d say. They had to stop [filming] because RuPaul was pissing herself. Michelle found it funny. So, the conversation of how this actually happened, and the embellishment of it and the exaggeration and inflation of the whole exaggeration, is partially true. The back and forth between us was definitely all in good fun, but I did kind of have a too-much-Red-Bull moment where I got pissed off at her. I can be dramatic sometimes.”

We love Tuck’s embellished version, but the actual tea is also just as delicious! At the end of the day, it’s clear that there’s nothing but love between Raja and Visage, except for a moment of irritation driven by drinking too many energy drinks.

The all-winners season continues to be the gift that keeps on giving!
