Kesha is throwing her support behind the drag community in the sweetest way.
The “Raising Hell” singer spent October and November of 2023 traveling across the United States (and Toronto!) with the Only Love Tour, which promoted her fifth studio album, Gag Order. One of the highlights of the show was when she invited local drag performers up on stage in certain cities for her iconic song celebrating identity, “We R Who We R.”
Now that the glitter has settled, Kesha has taken things a step further, and compiled a “drag directory” — a list of where each of the performers can be found on Instagram, and which city they call home.
It’s hardly the first time Kesha has shown love to drag queens. In addition to appearing as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 9 and taking part in Hulu’s Huluween Dragstravaganza, she also invited several queens on her Weird & Wonderful Rainbow Ride cruise in 2019, and had intended to do the same with its sequel before it got postponed indefinitely.
Fans and queens alike celebrated her support on social media after the drag directory was posted, with a number of the performers listed sharing their appreciation in response.
Scroll through to meet the drag artists who were featured on Kesha’s The Only Love Tour — and make sure to stream Gag Order on all music streaming services!
