Yet another RuPaul's Drag Race alum (who won Miss Congeniality her season) is stepping away from part of the artform.

Diva down? Not quite! But it seems as though there is yet another RuPaul's Drag Race queen who says she is "leaving" drag in the past...

LaLa Ri, who competed in the 13th season of the Emmy-winning reality drag competition and who ended up winning the coveted title of Miss Congeniality, has reportedly taken a step back from performing in drag, though, make no mistake about it, she is still out there performing and serving some amazing entertainment for crowds!

"Stepping into this new chapter has been such a wild and thrilling ride," Ri, who also competed in All Stars 8 last year, wrote in a caption on an Instagram post dated October 19 where she can be seen performing her song "Bad Bitch Tip" to a crowd while noticeably not in drag. "I may be leaving the drag behind, but trust me, The LaLa Ri Experience is still very much alive and serving!"

So it seems like though she's specifically leaving behind the drag portion of her image and career, Ri is still very much around and slaying! As PinkNews points out, the last time Ri posted a drag look to her Instagram grid was this past July, and her feed has been dominated lately with many (still fierce AF!) non-drag looks.

Ri is just the latest addition to many notable Drag Race alumna who, whether temporarily or permanently, have taken a step back from the world of drag.

Drag Race UK's Krystal Versace announced her hiatus from drag last month, saying in an Instagram story post: "Just wanted to be transparent with you all on here. I'm taking a little break. This year has been intense for me in many ways and I've experienced a lot of burnouts. Society doesn't encourage you about looking after your mental health. In fact, it encourages the opposite, especially in my industry."

And Trixie Mattel, who took a few months away from the spotlight to focus on other things in her life, just returned to this past October as well.

Though we'll miss seeing Ri turn out some fierce and fun drag looks, we know this next chapter in her life will be one to watch and still be excited for, so we can't wait to see what happens next!

All seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race are streaming on Paramount+.
