As of Tuesday, August 20, multihyphenate Trixie Mattel has officially reached 4 million followers on Instagram and became the first-ever queen from RuPaul's Drag Race to reach this social media milestone.

Plastique Tiara, who has 2.8 million followers on Instagram, is the second most-followed Drag Race star of the entire franchise. In other words, Trixie has a lead of 1.2 million followers over Plastique.

Comparatively, Mama Ru herself has 5.2 million followers on Instagram — which means that Trixie is also 1.2 million followers behind the legendary Drag Race host as of this writing.

Trixie crossing the 4-million threshold on Instagram is a herstoric accomplishment not only for the All Stars 3 winner but also for the Drag Race series as a whole. Oddly enough, Trixie is currently on her first break from drag in several years… so she's not even online right now to react to this milestone. But, baby, you literally can't read the doll!

Between running businesses like Trixie Cosmetics, the actual Trixie Motel in Palm Springs, and the This Is It! bar in Milwaukee; creating online content for YouTube, social media, Netflix's I Like to Watch web series, and The Bald and the Beautiful podcast with Katya; hosting Paramount's The Pit Stop, starring in the Max original show Trixie Motel, cohosting WOW Presents Plus UNHhhh series; going on several world tours; releasing a handful of albums/EPs featuring original music; and launching the Solid Pink Disco brand of DJing gigs, it's not surprising that Trixie amassed this mind-blowing following on social media. Still, it did gag us a bit… for sure.

The most-followed queen in the world is Brazilian pop star Pabllo Vittar, who has 12.9 million followers on Instagram right now. In second place is another drag superstar from Brazil, Gloria Groove, with 5.4 million followers on Instagram.

Congratulations are in order to Trixie Mattel!
