We are SO happy to have this queen back!

Trixie Mattel is finally back!

After a few months away from the spotlight, the internet's favorite drag queen has made her return to YouTube with a brand new video where she's catching up on some of the more popular and prominent internet trends she's missed out on while she was away.

In true Trixie fashion, she spills all the tea on what she's been up to, from traveling all over the country to trying to watch Game of Thrones.

"I've been gone for months. I've been on my sabbatical doing anything but being on the internet, wearing a wig, doing anything work-related, I've barely been reading emails for three months. I’ve been off social media with only one 30-minute Zoom call a week with managers. That is it. Unreachable. Unheard of," Trixie said when discussing her leave.

Despite her time away, Trixie was shocked to see how much coverage her break was getting.

"I never thought when I went on break it would be newsworthy... It was really crazy how much coverage me doing nothing got. Do you know how much I put out, and it's like, can you guys make big articles about some of that?"

Though she has been back online and posting on other social platforms for a bit now, Trixie's YouTube channel has notably been posting "takeover" style videos where many of her beloved friends and drag colleagues have been creating content in her absence. But with the Trixie's latest video, where she catches up on everything from viral hippo diva Moo Deng to Beetlejuice Beetlejuice to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars' new hit single "Die With a Smile" to to the whole demure trend, she is now officially back into the groove of creator mode! And we're excited for this next chapter!

Now that she's back, Trixie hints at exciting things coming and says there are a ton of videos being filmed and more content on the way!
