Who ever thought coming out could be so entertaining?
Viral videos have become the way of the digital world. In recent years, YouTube has become a space to share personal sentiments--including coming out videos. From Youtube personalities Connor Franta and Ingrid Nilsen to the emotional coming out of model twins Austin and Aaron Rhodes, the platform is a powerful tool.
Henry Tadebois, a 24 year old Melbourne man, used YouTube to come out as transgender to his friends and family. But instead of the usual sadness and confusion that often accompanies coming out, Tadebois took a humorous and informative approach. Tadebois made a video we can all learn something from. Within three minutes he entertainingly addresses his new name, what it means to be transgender, how testosterone will affects his body, and how excited he is to transition.
