From Looking to Hamilton, Jonathan Groff continues to flex his thespian muscles, whether he's working his way through a gay sex scene or singing in Broadway's hottest rap musical. Now Groff will be taking on Netflix in Mindhunter, a new series from director David Fincher.
Mindhunter, which is based on the true crime novel, Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit by John Douglas and Mark Olshaker, will follow Special Agent Douglas as he examines the most infamous serial killers in history (like Charles Manson and Ted Bundy, to name a couple).
No further details have been released, and we're unsure which role Groff will take on. But Fincher is confirmed to direct the pilot and Charlize Theron is locked in as executive producer.
In the meantime, we'll continue to wait for that Looking movie...
