8-year-old Desmond Napoles was the star of New York City Pride last year. He dressed fiercely from head to toe to in a rainbow dress and was wearing plenty of jewelry.
Desmond just made his Instagram debut when photographer Danielle Levitt brought him into a studio for a photoshoot. During the photoshoot, Levitt recorded Desmond vogueing to RuPaul's "Supermodel" and at the very end of the video he gives us a little death drop.
"He has always been very gender fluid when it came to toys and his development," Desmond's mother told NewNowNext. "He loves drag queens and thinks that it is fantastic that boys can play dress up in skirts and dresses, but most days he looks like any other 'boy.'"
His mother did admit he does get bullied at school sometimes, but the school's LGBT resources as well as the local LGBT community have helped Desmond stay true to himself and know "that he is of value and that his life as he wants to live it is okay."
