Not every fracture in a friendship is mendable, which seems to be the case for Kathy Griffin and her former co-host (former friend?) Anderson Cooper.

Nearly five months have passed since Griffin's career went up in flames due to the backlash caused by her posing with a severed Donald Trump head for a photo shoot. In his initial response to the shoot, Cooper tweeted: "For the record, I am appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in. It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate." Griffin was promptly fired from her gig beside Cooper on CNN hosting their annual New Year's Eve coverage.

Now, in a recent interview with The Daily Beast, Griffin isn't pulling any punches. The interview centers on Griffin's dealings with high-profile, "fame-whoring" lawyer Lisa Bloom, who some may recognize from Griffin's tear-filled press conference following the fallout of the shoot. When asked Cooper, whom she said hurt her with his tweet, Griffin borrowed a line she said was "from my gays," calling the CNN anchor and member of the Vanderbilt family "The Spineless Heiress."
