Queer Latinx Witches Fight White Supremacy in New Brujos Trailer
After finding a solid fanbase with the launch of its first four episodes earlier this year, Brujos is back with a teaser for what's coming next for our small coven of queer Latinx witches. As the magic-users close ranks and realize there's safety in numbers, a particularly malignant foe is set to test their resolve: white men.
Following a successful crowd-funding campaign, creator Ricardo Gamboa was able to bring his relevant, responsive story to life. The series is a successful amalgamation of drama, thrills, comedy, and queer coming of age dynamics with a black magic twist.

In the new teaser we see Jonathan, who funnels the pain of people around him into deafening screams, attempting to recruit a fellow brujo he meets at a comic book store. With the appropriate amount of camp and urgency, he flawless delivers Whoopie Goldberg's Ghost warning: "Molly, you in danger girl."
The new episodes premiered during an event at the National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago on November 9, but will be available on brujostv.com on November 20. Watch, below.
