Perfume Genius Announces Fall Tour with The XX

That high-pitched noise you heard as you were melting into the sidewalk today wasn't an overworked A/C unit bursting in the heatwave. It was the sound of pure queer joy escaping from our body as we learned that Perfume Genius and The XX are going on tour together. Perfume Genius is currently touring with serpentswithfeet to support his transcendetal fourth album No Shape.

In the years since releasing his debut album Learning, lead singer Mike Hadreas has crafted his Perfume Genius into a powerhouse on stage. "When you go to shows, you want to see a human up there onstage as much as you want them to be overblown," he told OUT. "You want to see the shakes in their voice, something that makes it real."

Two months after finishing up his tour, Perfume Genius will head to Glasglow to perform with The XX at the SWG3 Galvanizers Yard shows in August before hopping on the I See You tour together.
