She's got a fetish for film and he's got a fetish for... well, you get it. Selena Gomez is set to join Elle Fanning in the usual, star-studded cast of Woody Allen's next movie. The film, which will be released by Amazon Studios and is currently untitled, will also bring together Timothee Chalamet, the breakout star of the upcoming gay drama Call Me By Your Name.

Allen, who previously worked with Amazon on the film Cafe Society, is also set to debut his latest film Wonder Wheel at next month's New York Film Festival. The movie has been chosen to close out the festival, stars James Belushi, Juno Temple, Justin Timberlake, and Kate Winslet, and focuses on the famed Coney Island carousel. Wonder Wheel is set in the '50s on Coney Island and will feature a lifeguard relaying the story of a middle-aged carousel operator and his stressed wife.
With that on the slate, there's no telling what role Gomez will play in his next film or what the movie might be about, but we've got a feeling it won't swap out amusement parks for scenes of Gomez figuring out what different soaps and peaches taste like--we hope.
