Gwen Stefani Commemorates First Day of Fall With New Christmas Song
Get ready to stretch your Christmas cheer across two entire seasons. While we usually enjoy the comfort of a couple buffering commercial holidays (thanks, Halloween) until we're bombarded with Santas and Snowmen until our eyes bleed, Gwen Stefani is insuring we're infected with Christmas cheer ahead of schedule this year.
On her new song, "You Make It Feel Like Christmas," Stefani and her Voice bae Blake Shelton stick to the tried and true formula of a holiday hit. According to Billboardthe track, co-penned by Justin Tranter, will be featured on a holiday album of the same title, nestled between Stefani's take on classics like "Jingle Bells," "Santa Baby," and "Silent Night." Hopefully the guitar-strumming, drum-thumping, brass-blaring tune instantly places you in a Macy's holiday commercial, where there are no lines, celebrities hand you self-promotional items (no, Donald Trump, not you), and your Christmas-induced anxiety is a world away.

Now we're faced with the dilemma of thanking Stefani for what is sure to be one of this year's top new Christmas songs, or cursing her for making us think forward to everything that can go wrong in the world over the next three months. Whew, we made it to the end without a nuclear winter joke. Oops. Listen, below.
