Kristen Stewart & Lupita Nyong’o Reportedly in Talks for New Charlie’s Angels
Sometimes you don't know how badly you need something until you see it or hear about it. Such is the case for the Charlie's Angels reboot, rumored to have the likes of Kristen Stewart and Lupita Nyong'o circling roles.
According to Variety, sources close to the project say Stewart is being eyed for the Elizabeth Banks-directed project. Sony, the studio behind the new Angels, has hopes for a franchise, and after Banks delivered with Pitch Perfect 2, a strong cast could make that a strong possibility.

It's been just over 40 years since Charlie's Angels debuted as a television show in 1976, running for five seasons before it went off-air. Contemporary audiences will remember the 2000 big-screen reboot starring Lucy Liu, Cameron Diaz, and Drew Barrymore, and its 2003 sequel featuring Demi Moore, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.
Details are scarce about the project as its still in its infancy, but Sony is hoping for a Summer 2019 release. Now, the only real question left that matters is: how many slow-motion hair flips do we get? Read the full Variety story, here.
