A Frustrated Jessica Chastain Asks, ‘What Even Matters Anymore’ on SNL

It's been over a year since Donald Trump took office - over a year of people asking weekly, sometimes daily, "did he really just say that?"

Last weekend's episode of Saturday Night Live saw guest host Jessica Chastain getting a bit too real on a fake gameshow called, "What Even Matters Anymore?" On the show, Chastain's character quizzes contestants on some of Trump's recent inappropriate behavior and asks them, "Does it even matter?"

That shithole countries comment? You know that didn't matter. But what about that porn star he paid hush money to? Surely Trump's deeply-Christian voter base must've had a problem with his adultery. Of course not.

After going through the latest "doesn't matters," Chastain asks about hypothetical situations, like the firing of Robert Mueller, and even gives the contestants a chance to write down what absurd thing Trump could do that they think would matter. Spoiler: none of it will. Watch, below.
