This Reporter Is All of Us When She Loses It During a Ricky Martin Interview

A Puerto Rican reporter in Chicago had the interview of her dreams when she got a chance to speak with Ricky martin via satellite. Ana Belavel, who works for WGN, insisted that she get the chance to ask Martin a question or two when she found out her colleagues would be interviewing him about his role on the current season of American Crime Story.

Toward the tail end of their chat with Martin, Belavel was patched in. Already visibly excited, she asked the singer/actor about his humanitarian work in Puerto Rico. "Any plans for any more trips where I can go with you?" she gushed. "We can stay at my parents' house, Ricky!"

Belavel explained that Martin is such a positive Puerto Rican role model in the world that she feels related to him. She managed to keep it somewhat together until she thought the interview was over, but after few seconds of full freak-out her colleagues told her he was still linked to the feed.

"I will kill you!" Belavel joked.

"Please," said Martin, "I don't want to be involved in another American crime story." Watch, below.
