Inside the World of the Queer Photographer That's Changing the Game

You may already be familiar with the work of photographer Aaron Jay Young--remember his stunning DragCon series? Well, it's inspiring and beautiful photo moments like these that make him one of the most powerful queer photographers of our generation. He has something to say, and uses his brilliant photo work to get that message across.

He told us:

"My work is my passion, it's all my life experiences - the pain, the trauma, the work I've done to find forgiveness, love, and compassion for myself - that allows me to really see other people, their pain, their joy, their vulnerability, and capture it authentically. Everybody deserves to be seen and to be heard."
