Pray Tell Preaches the Importance of Getting Tested In Pose Clip

Though the divas of Pose exude an unshakeable confidence when they strut the floor of a ballroom, the looming specter of HIV is a constant cause of worry in the late 80s-set drama.
As multiple characters on the show know someone personally who has been infected with the virus, they are constantly vigilant so that other loved ones don't succumb to the disease. In a clip from last Sunday's episode, Pray Tell (Billy Porter) has a sit down with the boys of the House of Evangelista and informs them that they will all be getting tested for HIV.
"We need to know our stats so we can stop spreading this disease," he says. Damon thinks it's a good idea, but exemplifies how little was known about the transmission of the disease at its advent, saying Lil Papi doesn't need to get tested because he can't catch the virus from a woman.
