She's "no angel" when it comes to her love.
Amid the wave of June's new music releases saturating playlists and streaming services, Charli XCX revitalizes the month's monotony with two bubbly hum-along love songs.
From obsessively pouting for a lover's attention over a spacy A.G. Cook-produced instrumental on "Focus," XCX reinforces the naughty but nice demeanor she is often associated with in her apologetic yet bittersweet bop, "No Angel."
Until now the pair had been unreleased, leaving fans to search for rips of decent quality from live performances.
The two gems, thought to be from sessions for the singer's upcoming third studio album, then mysteriously ropped a week ago on fizy, a relatively unknown Turkish based streaming service.
Charli's Angels took the surprise appearance as a signal that "Focus" and "No Angel" would soon receive a wider release as part of her series of end of month releases.
She had previously released "5 in The Morning" in May, and premiered a video for the trap ode to late night partying earlier this week.
The three tracks pair well with the "Boys" singer's other sugar-frosted pop selections from her most recent mixtapes, Number 1 Angel and Pop 2.
"Focus" and "No Angel" are available now on streaming and iTunes.
