When the Beat Drops follows a crew of black gay men as they master and revolutionize the Southern-rooted underground dance scene known as "bucking." In a clip exclusive to Out we see two different teams prepare for and enter a competition in the "entrance, field show, and exit" categories.
The documentary, which was named the Documentary Centerpiece winner at this year's Outfest, premieres on Logo August 9 at 8/7c. Watch the clip, below.
