The power of three is getting shady.

Fans of the original Charmed series have raised concerns about the upcoming reboot since the first footage premiered, and the actresses who originally played the Halliwell sisters have similar concerns. In a new interview, Alyssa Milano said she was disappointed that none of the original stars were asked for creative input.

"I wish that they would have come to us and we would have been involved since the beginning," Milano, who played the precognitive Phoebe Halliwell, told Entertainment Tonight. "But having said that, I do hope that it reaches the newer generation and impacts that generation the way ours was able to do for its generation."

Milano's TV sisters had similar opinions about the reboot. "I will never understand what is fierce, funny, or feminist in creating a show that basically says the original actresses are too old to do a job they did 12 years ago," said Holly Marie Combs tweeted earlier this year, adding that the reboot was "capitalizing" on the work of the original cast. Shannen Doherty thought the show was "a bit offensive" to the legacy of Charmed. Rose McGowan, who joined Charmed's cast in season four after Doherty's exit, is the only sister who has yet to weigh in.
