The queen was denied her crown.

The end of Nicki Minaj's album release week didn't quite go as planned. After soaring to the top of the charts in 86 countries the Queen rapper was denied her throne atop the Billboard 200, and her list of reasons why includes Kylie Jenner.

The way album sales are calculated and counted for credit toward the Billboard 200 seem to be in constant flux these days as the ways people listen to music continue to diversify. Streaming, pre-sales, and hard copies purchased are components of the equation, but sometimes the numbers can be manipulated. Enter Nicki's beef with Kylie.

"I put my blood sweat & tears in writing a dope album only for Travis Scott to have Kylie Jenner post a tour pass telling ppl to come see her & Stormi," Minaj tweeted on Sunday after the numbers came in. "lol. Im actually laughing. #Queen broke the record of being number 1 in 86 countries. Thank Jesus & thank you to my fans."

Minaj is referring to an Instagram link Jenner posted that allowed fans to purchase a package including tickets for a tour without any dates announced along with the album and a small teaser saying fans may see her and her and Scott's baby at a show.

The rapper also put some of the blame on Spotify, claiming they put up less visual publicity for her album to "teach her a lesson" for premiering the album on her Apple Radio show slightly before it was available on Spotify.

After the rant Minaj clarified that she wasn't mad, just being sarcastic. Mad or not, Minaj clearly needed to vent, and vent she did.
