The Young Professionals is a hot international band you must listen to--if you haven't already. Led by one of Israel's best-selling musicians, Ivri Lider (who we spoke with this summer), and Yonathan Goldshtein, a young and talented producer/composer who has recorded with the biggest names in the industry, the group changes the standards of what might come to mind when you think of a music band, as you'll see through their music video for "Be With You Tonight."
From its debut album 9AM to 5PM, 5PM to Whenever, the video pays homage to Alain Resnais's arthouse mainstay, Last Year at Marienbad, in all its hypnotic and high-fashion romance.
Also featured in the music video is the "fire on ice" collection by French designer Jean-Charles De Castelbajac. The track itself also contains a sample of American-born French singer/songwriter Joe Dassin's "Et Si Tu N'Existais Pas" from his 1975 album, Le Costume Blanc.
Stick around to the last few seconds where you'll catch a glimpse of drag artist Uriel Yekutiel give some serious face (while eating a pita).
