Icona Pop has been killing it lately. Billboard, Pitchfork, and Spin have heralded their debut album, This is...Icona Pop as a triumph and their drag-tasitic video for "All Night" is simply-fabulous and possibly one of the best things online since that video of that woman who caught fire twerking--we know it's fake, still doesn't mean that it isn't hilarious. The video proved that "All Night" was perfect to vogue to, but could you really tear up the floor to it? Wayne G and Leo Frappier (LFB) have accepted that challenge and, guess what, it turns out you can.
Their Anthem Mix adds on a thumping bassline, an undulating build up, and a fully satisfying drop, all of which work with the Swedish duo's spot-on vocals. It's a testament to G's and Frappier's skills as producers that the pair have managed to reimagine and retool the track with steamrolling over the song's pop-sensibility.
