Feeling a bit of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)? Or maybe just plain old sad? The Julie Ruin's got a nice fix for you in the form of its new video for "Goodnight, Goodbye," the appropriately bright and sunny song off of their surf-rock album Run Fast, which came out in September (Check out our interview with Kathleen Hanna about it).
It's a highly unpretentious few minutes of the band performing, eating, milling about, and generally keeping it casual, all on old-school super 8 film. It's the perfect way to take a break from any current dreariness and to pretend you're best friends with a band of awesome ladies who hang out on sidewalks, take the time to check themselves in the mirror, eat french fries, and occasionally leave their drinks on the floor. They're just like you!
