Company Freak is "a revolving, multi-generational loose-knit affiliation of awe-inspiring vocalists and musicians" headed by Jason King, Ph.D. Yes that's Ph.D. as in doctor, and not doctor like Dr. Dre, but doctor as in "grad school." King is an associate professor at NYU on top of fronting Company Freak. The supergroup's latest track, "Andre Leon Talley" is a ode to the former Vogue Editor-At-Large. A bouncy dance track replete with late 80s/90s vibes, "Andre Leon Talley" is simultaneously up-tempo and mellow. Thus, it's the perfect soundtrack for when you're trying to get from Meat Packing to Lincoln Center in 15 minutes for the one show that's definitely gonna start on time.
