Quickies: Uniqlo's free giveaway, Adam Lippes for Mango and more

Uniqlo is giving away its new Heat Tech innerwear for free. But not until next month when the brand will host a huge promotion in Times Square with what is being described as a giant human vending machine (pictured). The device will scan your body locating cold spots and then appropriately outfit you with the right Uniqlo garment. We'd call it far too gimmicky, but the clothes are free, so what the hell. Adam Lippes is designing a capsule collection for Mango. The American designer will produce two collections for both men and women for the spring/summer 2009 and autumn/winter 2009 seasons, with 12 looks for each sex in the respective collections. [DNR]

On the German front, H&M is collaborating with Berlin design duo C.neeon. While the 300 limited edition shirts are only available at the Berlin H&M, if sales go well we might see an international roll out sometime in the near future. [WWD]
