Breakin' down Christian Bale's breakdown

Perhaps you've heard the what can only be termed monumentally SHOCKING mp3 that's floating around the Internet featuring Christian Bale losing first his temper and then his mind when the director of photography for the new Terminator Salvation film disrupts a scene.

The interaction (if it can be called that -- Bale spends the three minute clip ranting, raving, swearing, and threatening the mostly mum offending DP while the director of the film tries to soothe the actor before his head starts spinning and someone ends up with a craft services shish kabob skewer stabbed through his or her spleen) is especially titillating since we so often hear about breakdowns on set, but so rarely get to witness them (even if secondhand via TMZ.com).

In the aftermath of Bale's meltdown it has to be asked what the fallout for his bad behavior will be: Will fans turn their backs on the hugely popular actor? Will studios? It's doubtful, but what's certain is people cannot get enough of the Terminator tirade. In fact, it's so popular it's already inspired several dance remixes!
