Darlene Officially a Lesbian

During a press conference for her upcoming talk show, Sara Gilbert confirmed what viewers of Roseanneand those privy to her personal life have long suspected: She's a lesbian. While the actor, 35, has two children with partner Allison Adler, Gilbert has never spoken openly about the relationship.

Gilbert has a new talk show, The Talk, premiering this fall with co-hosts Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Holly Robinson Peete, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Leah Remini. The women will apparently chat about being contemporary mothers, which would have been awkward if Gilbert weren't willing to come out publicly now.

During her time on Roseanne, Gilbert always exuded a quiet, butch lesbian aura, even when copulating with TV beau David. One thing's for sure, though, TV mom Roseanne probably would have approved.
