Tired of Dating Beautiful People? Try an Ugly Brit.

People love to go on a bit about those Brits with their unchiseled bodies and bad teeth, but mostly it's just a joke, right? Because there are some really hot Brits: Jude Law, Will Young, er, Stephen Fry, um ... Daniel Radcliffe! Yes, lots of them.

So news of a brand new dating site in the UK just for ugly people has taken us by surprise. Theuglybugball.co.uk kicks off with the bold mission statement that "Half of UK daters aren't pretty so instead of fishing in a small pool of prettiness and getting nowhere dive into an ocean of uglies and have more choice." The site then goes on to say -- among other things -- "Ugly people are a better caliber of human -- pretty people generally aren't very nice and are often a bit shallow" and "Ugly people have had a tougher life and therefore tend to be more considerate and more loyal. A recent TUBB survey also proved that they try harder in bed."

There's no mention of LGBT one way or the other, so we're guessing it's not exactly Grindr, but hey, you never know.
