Christopher Kane to Debut Menswear Line

Christopher Kane is an undeniably talented up-and-comer that has secured a place as one of the must-have tickets for fashionistas during London Fashion Week. In fact, he was just nominated for the BFC/Vogue Fashion Fund Award (like the British Fashion Oscars). As is often the case, Mr. Kane's daring and innovative womenswear has yet to find its menswear complement...until now that is. After a trial capsule collection consisting of T-shirts earlier this year, the British designer is now fleshing out his menswear offerings.

"I became obsessed with the explosions and landscapes from space pictures," he told Vogue.co.uk. "I loved the colors and unbelievable detail. I printed them on to simple shapes, like loose fit T-shirts, cashmere and silk-mix knitted sweaters and cardigans." So it won't just be t-shirts this time around. Now, the brilliant Brit will be offering a mash-up of suiting and sport-y elements, perfect for the gentlemanly English lad who's always on the go in not-so-great weather.

It goes without saying that we're thrilled, and just found that we have a few more things to add to our holiday wish list. The collection, perfectly times, lands early next month.
