Hummer: The Daylights' "I Hope This Gets To You"

Long distance relationships are...a bitch. Anyone who's suffered through one knows that phone sex only gets you so far. If it ain't flesh, it ain't fresh, and eventually you start hating all forms of technological communication. So it's encouraging to see that at least one man has found a new way to express cyber-romance: by way of strangers on YouTube and Twitter. Even Katy Perry's in on it.

When his girlfriend moved away to grad school, Walter C. May created a music video to "I Hope This Gets To You" by the Daylights, whose members ever-so-conveniently happen to be May's roommates. His hope is that, instead of sending the video to her directly, she'll see it after enough people have passed it along via social media. Our hope is that May's sentiments are legit and not some twisted attempt to promote his roomie-band. When Ms. Girlfriend does eventually see it, May said he's going to Tweet the good news.
