Morning Cheat Sheet: The Week That Was

Lots of stuff happened last week, didn't you hear? Let's take a quick moment to welcome new friends (Rachel Zoe's baby) and say good-bye to others (RIP Liz Taylor).

Rachel Zoe, who was recently crowned highest-paid celebrity stylist, has another reason to celebrate. She and her husband welcomed a baby boy to their clan last week, naming him Skyler Morrison Berman. Get that kid a Twitter account, pronto!

Elizabeth Taylor -- actress, fashion icon and AIDS activist -- died at the age of 79. The New York Times' Cathy Horyn wrote a great article expressing Taylor's special place in fashion history, not as a classic goddess like Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn, but has an eccentric and passionate presence.

Oh, and Taylor was a diva to the last moment, arriving 15 minutes late to her funeral, per her request.

That pesky tax evasion accusation is still following Dolce & Gabbana...and may land the two a criminal triall!

A Marc Jacobs intern used the company's Twitter account to vent his frustrations. Ruh roh.

Tom Ford is still mouthing off, and we love it. His latest includes five lessons of "gentlemanly" style which includes never wearing shorts in the city.
