Truman Says

Joe Zee is in Danger!

We're big fans of Joe Zee -- in fact he showed us around Los Angeles in our latest issue, on newsstands now -- and we adore his new show on The Sundance Channel's All on the Line. If you haven't seen it, basically he consults a designer or design team that has hit a roadblock on their path to a successful business. While he usually takes on smaller, emerging designers looking for their big break (like the lingerie designer -- the one with the terrible name Between the Sheets -- who was making no money, ignored Joe's advice and totally got dissed a week or two ago). But this week, Joe met up withGemma Khang who used to be a huge deal back in the nineties, but since has seen her successful business peter out and hit a major stand still.

Joe came in and immediately felt that something was up with Khang's creative director, David Victor Rose, and advised her to ditch him. She heeded his advice and apparently Rose has now gone bonkers, first stalking Zee directly but then moving on to the producers of the show threatening suicide. This is so not good! Zee has allegedly even hired bodyguards as he's fearful for his life! This is bananas! It goes without saying that we love us some Joe Zee, so keep your wits about you, boy. Don't be walking around on the dark streets of NYC by yourself. This David Victor Rose character sounds like a shady dude. Watch yourself!
