Window Dressing: Fashion Maven Daphne Guinness Will Prepare for the Met Ball in a Barneys Window

Everybody, including eccentric fashion editor Anna Dello Russo, has an opinion on what to wear to the upcoming Met Ball. For those invited it's basically like high school prom, but with no ugly or poor people allowed to attend. That means that New York's finest and most fashionable shall all be in attendance (we're still waiting for our invite). But if there is one person who can challenge Dello Russo in terms of sartorial spectacle, it would have to be none other than Daphne Guinness, the skunk-haired heiress whose penchant for McQueen and vertiginous heels have become her trademarks. Well, if you want to see how this purebred fashionista prepares for the year's most anticipated fashion event, you'll have your chance. Guinness will play real-life mannequin and get ready for the charity soiree in one of Barneys' famous windows. Seems that the retailers new management team is savvily banking on throngs of people -- fashion lovers or not -- ogling a lady getting dressed in a store-front window -- smart, Barneys...verrrry smart.

We do have a question though, how much skin is Guinness going to be showing? Is she getting down to her skivvies or will there be some sort of partician to hide her while she actually changes. Guess you'll have to check it out in person to find out, seeing as no further details have been released.
