Anderson Cooper to Host the CFDA Awards

In his bid to be the most outspokenly gay closet case, WWD is reporting that none other than Anderson Cooper will be hosting this year's CFDA Awards. Cooper's usual forte on his CNN show Anderson Cooper 360o is hopping on planes and following the latest natural disaster or political anarchy in order to manipulate the world's current affairs into ratings, so staring down Anna Wintour should be a walk in the park by comparison (and if the picture to the right is any indication, he's been practicing his 'smize' for Tyra). This will make for some fun interactions though, since Lady Gaga and Marc Jacobs will definitely be there to pick up their awards (Fashion Icon Award and Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award, respectively).
