GQ Shows Us Why Kim Kardashian is Marrying Kris Humphries

While this may come as a surprise to many of you, we admit that we're not very up-to-date on our sports knowledge. Shocking, we know. Our brains are too filled with facts about random fashion tid-bits (for example did you know that Napoleon Bonaparte introduced the world to buttons on the jacket sleeves?) to learn all the enless stats of all the endless players on all the endless teams in all the endless leagues of all the endless varieties of sports. It's all too much! So forgive us when it was announced earlier this week that Kim Kardashian, she of the most famous derriere since J.Lo, was engaged to Kris Humphries we thought to ourselves, Who the hell is that? While we now know he's a power forward (sounds suspiciously like a sexual inclination, no?) for the New Jersey Nets, and that he's...hmmm, how do we say this....patient enough to deal with Kim's dearth of personality it wasn't until we scanned GQ's June issue and saw what must have won over Kim's simple, little heart. Humphries shows off summer's hottest swimsuits for the men's mag, but it's not the clothing that caught our attention in these pictures. In fact, if you ask us, there is too much apparel in these shots. We've got to hand it to her -- good job, Kim. That boy's body plus the fact he has $2 million to drop on an engagement ring means that you just stumbled upon the holy grail. Still, we give the marriage two years, tops.
