The internet was abuzz this morning with news that Anna Wintour would be penning her own The Devil Wears Prada, as seen from the eyes of a misunderstood, lonely and mighty top editor who just wants to bring Fashion (with a capital "F") to the masses -- create an aspirational dream world, if you will. See, she felt compelled to finally explain the details of her signature coif, her lusty obsession with Karl Lagerfeld, her love of Manolo Blahniks (especially sling-backs), her need to be carried down flights of stairs and her mysterious love affair with Bob Marley. But for those looking forward to a juicy read where Anna talks about how she clawed her way to the top, those who helped her, and those who stood in her way, keep holding your breath. Turns out this is nothing more than some Monday morning gossip. Sad -- we would have loved to have read that bad boy cover to cover. Maybe when she retires...but even that possibility seems far in the distance.
