"I went to a reunion like two years after I had cheered, and somehow a gal had found out about it. I was out to my close friends, but not to everyone. So, I was still uncomfortable with the terminology, and I didn't really want those girls to know. This gal comes running from across the football field yelling, "Oh my God, Leslie! I can't believe you're gay!!" Screaming at the top of her lungs. I was dying."
