Ab Fab is Back! Joanna Lumley & Jennifer Saunders Reprise Patsy & Edina Roles

We caught Joanna Lumley in her shortlived Broadway role in La Bete, but now we get what we've all been waiting for: Patsy & Edina are back! Returning for the first time since 2004, Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders are filming scenes for an all-new Absolutely Fabulous Christmas special.The Hollywood Reporter confirms that "20 years after TV viewers were introduced to the British comedy phenomenon Absolutely Fabulous, BBC America and Logo have struck a deal to bring it back."

"We hope that, like a good bottle of champagne we have grown better with age but lost none of our sparkle... We fully intend to party like it's 1991," said Saunders. "When we started filming in West London, it was like time had stood still. It was raining. Nevertheless we are so happy to be working for an audience that has grown just a tiny bit older, like us, but is still willing to let us fall over on TV in the name of PR."
