First Look: Florence + the Machine's "What The Water Gave Me"


Wednesday mornings don't often offer much in the way of chills, but today is the exception thanks to arrival of a brand new Florence + The Machine track. "What The Water Gave Me" is the first single from the British singer-songwriter's upcoming sophomore album due out in the U.K. on November 7 and in the U.S. later that same month.

If you were worried that Ms. Welch wasn't going to be able to reach the grandeur she achieved on her debut album, Lungs, save yourself the trouble. "What The Water Gave Me" is at once classic Florence + the Machine and the next wave in the singer's evolution.
