New York the romantic City of Lights versus the aggressive Big Apple, there are numerous ways to wax rhapsodic on the many different ways that the two cities can be compared. One seminal way, of course, has to do with the women who dictate taste and fashion. For gay Paris, its the frizzy, flaming-haired designer Sonia Rykiel versus the tightly-bobbed, stiff-upper-lipped Wintour (little need be sad regarding who we favor).
