Zachary Quinto To Play Gay in new Ryan Murphy Thriller

Ryan Murphy and Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk's new "psychosexual thriller"--FX's very adult American Horror Story-- looks promisingly creepy. It's also packed with great stars like Jessica Lange, Dylan McDermott and Connie Britton.

Now, Hollywood Reporter reveals that, "former Heroes villain Zachary Quinto... will be a recurring guest star named Chad, a gay former owner of the haunted home where the Ben and Vivien Harmon (McDermott and Britton) reside in the FX drama..." Quinto will make his debut in the first part of the two-part Halloween episode.

The article explained that the show is "Revolving around a family that moves from Boston to a creepy Los Angeles mansion, the series... has what Murphy estimated were eight cliffhangers in the 90-minute premiere."

Star Trek star Quinto joins a growing supporting cast that includes Frances Conroy, Lily Rabe, and Denis O'Hare.

American Horror Story debuts Oct. 5 on FX. Watch the trailer below.
