Michelle Obama Spotted Shopping at Target

As US Weekly likes to remind us, celebrities are just like us. They pump gas, gorge on fast food, pick up their dry cleaning, and partake in a plethora of other mundane, unglamorous chores. One public figure who you'd never really imagine running these sorts of errands, though, is the President or the First Lady. It's not because they'd think its beneath them...its just that they seem too busy, you know, running the country and all that jazz. Yet with an agenda that one can only assume is bursting at the seams, Michelle Obama made time to pick up some household necessities. Normal enough, right? Yet there is quite the hullaballoo over where, exactly, Mrs. O chose to fill her shopping cart. She stepped out, Nike baseball cap and sunnies in tow, to Target. Not all that glamorous, now is it? Though this trip has some people's tongues wagging, its not that out of character -- she's worn a dress from the mega-retailer in the past. Plus, we've always admired how the Obamas have seemed both incredibly poised and yet completely down-to-Earth, and this is simply another example of that. And lets admit it, we love a bargain basement deal just like anyone else. Who would've thought -- Michelle Obama, just like us.
