J. Crew's Jenna Lyons is in the Midst of a 'Messy Divorce' Due to a Lesbian Affair Says Page Six

We hate rumors (except for Fleetwood Mac's album Rumours -- that's a whole different story), but this one strikes us as noteworthy, should it be true. Page Six ran a story today revealing that J. Crew's president and creative director is in the midst of a marital break-up. Lyons is credited for galvanizing and re-inventing J. Crew into the mega-brand it is today (Beyonce was spotted at their spring 2012 presentation last month) and for generally having a perfect life (including painting her gorgeous son's toenails and having a fabulous home).

Says P6:

The divorce comes after the couple, who wed in 2002 and shared a Park Slope brownstone, were featured in magazine stories as the ultimate in creative and casual cool. But following the split, we're told Lyons has fallen in love with another woman who also works in the fashion business.

While another person's personal grief is never something to be happy about, it is interesting to think that Lyons -- known for her mastery of the perfect "high-low" mix, and fawned over as a "girl crush" by many bloggettes, has switched teams. We need more power lesbians in the mix in the fashion industry.
