Prabal Gurung Once Dressed as Marc Jacobs For Halloween

Well, the ever elusive "they" have always maintainted that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If that's true, then designer Prabal Gurung showed his adoration for the reigning king of American sportswear, Mr. Marc Jacobs, by dressing up as him for Halloween a few years back, as he told Refinery29. While Jacobs may be known as the fashion world's wild card -- each season his highly anticipated show tends to be wildly different than the one before it -- his own uniform is fairly consistent and Gurung has got it down pat: white button down, combat boots, kilt and stubble.
