Beyoncé Gives Birth to Baby Girl, Names Her a Color

If you were in New York City this past weekend, you may have noticed that the weather was a bit warmer than usual. Instead of the dreary early-January slush most locals are used to--especially after 2011's impromptu blizzard. In fact, the sun was shining and the temperatures were surprisingly moderate. Perhaps this was because singer Beyonce Knowles needed the perfect climate conditions to deliver her child, and nature complied with the singer's requests. Yes, Ms. Knowles, who announced her pregnancy in August, gave birth to a baby girl this Saturday at New York City's Lenox Hill Hospital. Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z have reportedly named their new daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
