Paul Bettany is no longer interested in sex. At least on TV.
English actor Paul Bettany, known for his work in films such as A Beautiful Mind and The Da Vinci Code, as well as being super cute and married to Jennifer Connelly, will not be starring in Showtime's latest drama, Masters of Sex, according to TVLine.com.
The upcoming series is based on Thomas Maier's novel about 1960s human sexuality pioneers, William Masters and Virginia Johnson and the role would have marked Bettany's American television debut. His sudden removal from the pilot series is unclear and both leading roles are yet to be cast.
We're hoping Showtime finds someone eager (and adorable) to fill his shoes.
